SURROUNDINGS

The city of Teplice is well known for the mineral springs, which are especially recommendable if you suffer from loco motor system and neurological problems. Tsar Peter the Great and Ludwig Van Beethoven are just two of the many famous people who used this spa. The history of the city dates back into the 10th century when it has been founded because of its mineral springs. Teplice is one of the oldest Spas in Europe.

The family villa is located in a quiet area very close to the Spa facilities. The tennis courts and the bowling lanes are just a 15 minute walk away, within 5 minutes you reach the new swimming pool (Aqua Centre with mineral water) with the Fitness Centre, the Sauna and the restaurant and also a toboggan. There is also an open-air mineral water swimming pool.

A 30 minute walk brings you to the local chateau, from where you will enjoy a marvellous look over the city and to the "Krušné hory" mountains, which are only 15 kilometres away and offer perfect skiing in winter. The ZOO in Ústí nad Labem is about the same distance.

Only a 100m from the villa you will find a small pub called "U RAJCETE" and a grocery store. For a larger shopping list we would like to recommend you drive to one of the countless shopping centres in the area.

The Northern-Czech Philharmony has it's headquarters here, and they give regular concerts - during the season they at the colonnade.

Autodrom Most 25 km.

Hypodrom Most 25 km.

Being accommodated in Teplice also means to be able to get to Prague, Dresden or the nature reserve Labské pískovce (the Czech-Saxon Switzerland) with just one hour, or within 1.5 hours to Carlsbad and Liberec.

Teplice is the ideal place for spa guests and their family or visitors, for motorists, bikers, hitch hikers, cross-country and downhill skiers and alpinists.
